Brand
The "brand_id" attribute (optional) is available in Lengow at the attribute mapping step. Enter either the brand name or the TikTok brand ID.
- If the brand exists on TikTok Shop, Lengow checks if the seller is authorized to use it.
- If the brand doesn’t exist, Lengow creates it using the provided name. The seller must then request authorization in the TikTok Seller Center.
If you provide a brand, your product can only be listed once this brand is authorized.
To get a brand authorization, log in to your TikTok Seller account and submit the necessary documents. Once approved, the brand can be linked to your products.

Description
The product description must be provided in the "description" attribute.
Description requirements:
- Length: Maximum 10,000 characters (recommended: 300+ characters).
- Must not contain Chinese characters.
- All HTML tags are accepted, but some (e.g. <table>) may be automatically converted by TikTok Shop for display.
- It is recommended to include 3–5 key selling points (≤ 250 characters each), ideally with images.
Images may be embedded in the product description using <img> HTML tags:
- Maximum 30 <img> tags
- Each image must include src (image URL), width, and height (<img src="..." width="..." height="..." />)
- width and height must be positive integers and ≤ 4000 px (recommended: 1600 × 1600 px)
Images
Enter your product's image URLs in the "main_images.uri" attributes (up to 9 images may be sent, 6 are recommended).
TikTok Shop's image requirements:
- Format: JPG, JPEG, PNG, WEBP, HEIC or BMP.
- File size: max. 10 MB.
- Dimensions: min. 100x100 px / max. 20000x20000 px:
- Gallery image: dimensions must be between 300x300 px and 4000x4000 px.
- Image for product details and measurements: dimension must be at least 1024 px on the shorter side.
- Images should be clear, informative, and attractive.
Additional image attributes are available to provide the image specific to a color OR size variant: "sku_img_color.uri" and "sku_img_size.uri".
Use only one of these attributes, it is not recommended to combine them for a single product.
Video
Enter your product's video URL in the "video.id" attribute.
To be accepted by TikTok Shop, the video must meet all of the following conditions:
Supported formats: MP4 (recommended), MOV, MKV, WMV, WEBM, AVI, 3GP, FLV, MPEG
Valid video file: readable video with a valid resolution
Aspect ratio: between 9:16 (vertical) and 16:9 (horizontal), inclusive
File size: maximum 100 MB per video
HTTP Content-Type: must start with "video/" (for example "video/mp4")
Lengow validation: video files are checked before being sent to TikTok Shop.
If a video does not meet the requirements, it is blocked and a clear error is returned (for example: "upload file type is invalid", "video ratio must be between 9:16 and 16:9").
GPSR
To comply with the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) applicable from December 13, 2024, you must provide to TikTok Shop the following information about your products through attributes available in Lengow:

Manufacturer Information - "manufacturer.name", "manufacturer.email", "manufacturer.phone_number" and "manufacturer.address", "manufacturer.registered_trade_name":
Provide each product's manufacturer contact details, and if relevant, the importer's information. This information must be visible on the physical product itself, as well as in each product listing. -
Responsible Person - "responsible_person.name_01", "responsible_person.email_01", "responsible_person.phone_number_01", etc.:
All attributes in the "Responsible person" section are mandatory. Please refer to the attributes' definitions for the expected format.
For most non-food products, EU Responsible Person requirements will apply. Sellers are required to display the relevant Responsible Person details on each product listing. -
Safety Warnings (available at category level) - ex: "101469 Avertissement de sécurité"
All applicable warnings and safety-related information related to the product must be clearly displayed in each product listing.
Specific information is required for Cosmetics, Electronics and Toys (CE Marking, ingredients, WEEE labels,...)

Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR)
Your Unique Identification Number (UIN) must be submitted to TikTok Shop in the Qualification Center for certain product categories (Electrical and Electronic Equipment, Furniture, Toys, etc.).

Electrical & Electronic Certification
For Electrical & Electronics products, you must provide either a photo or a file that clearly shows mandatory legal information in the local language, including the CE marking, required warnings, instructions for use, and any applicable WEEE labels.
- If it's an image, enter its URL in the "Electrical & Electronic Labelling Product Certification Image URI -
certification_7365861733472995078_images.uri" attribute. - If it's an image, enter its URL in the "Electrical & Electronic Labelling Product Certification File ID -
certification_7365861733472995078_files.id" attribute.
Also enter the file name in the associated attribute: "certification_7365861733472995078_files.name"
You have the option to add extra attributes if needed.
