3/ Access the application
Once the application is installed, go to the "Apps" section of your back office and click on "Lengow" to access the solution.
No update is necessary. Updates are automatically managed by Lengow on our platform. You can uninstall the Shopify app from the Shopify platform. Please note that this will permanently remove catalogs imported in Lengow and channels you have linked to them.
2. Set up Shopify App in Lengow
No specific configuration is required for the application. You will select the products you want to distribute directly in the Lengow solution.
Any product adding, modification or delete are automatically synchronized on Lengow platform. If you wish, you can also
manually update your entire catalogue from the "Catalogues" tab on Lengow.
Images & variations
In the case where products are declined by colours, Shopify will associate all images with each product. This then induces these products into error. To get around this issue, it is mandatory to create an additional source to associate the images with the right variations.
This additional source must be in the classic format with either the product ID, the SKU or the EAN code as key reference and the images in the right colour for each product.
Each cell must contain the url of one image
The url must be public
IMPORTANT
The Lengow indexer automatically creates Shopify ID for your entire catalog to collect your products and get your orders via the App. (image 2)
This ID is blocked by Lengow (Matching Lengow) and to avoid any problem while importing orders and retrieving products, it must be used when setting attribute "ID" type for ALL the channels you have chosen (see image 2).
This ID takes the following format: IDproduit_Idvariant (Ex: 12345678901_99876543212) or IDproduit (if invariant)
Shopify Metafields
Through its connection to Shopify, Lengow retrieves all products and fields from Shopify's Product API . If you're using Shopify's Metafields, they are not automatically retrieved in Lengow as they are not present in this API.
A Dedicated App in Shopify store is dedicated to the export of Metafields data. Metafields Editor Metafields Editor - Bulk edit Metafields, import/export, Backup. OS 2.0 Compatible | Shopify App Store This App can provide you with a CSV file that you can use as an additional source to your Lengow catalogue. Simply make sure that the product ID’s are correctly reported so Lengow can add the metafields data to your products.
Shopify Inventory
Shopify has different APIs to export inventory data. Currently, Lengow is not working with these APIs. Lengow only import the inventory data from the Product API ("inventory_quantity").

Click on the order. You will find details regarding the origin of the order and in the "Additional Information" block, the data that Lengow has recovered from marketplaces:
Marketplace name
Marketplace SKU
Whether the marketplace has managed to send it or not
...
4. Orders issues
Regularly check the "Orders " section of the Lengow platform to ensure that you have no orders in error.
When an error is detected in your order (missing item in the delivery address, non-existent product variation, ...), its synchronization with Shopify cannot be completed and so the order isn't imported into your Shopify backoffice.
These orders are marked with a red banner and an exclamation mark on the order dashboard in your Lengow account. (image 1)
In the order detail, a message will inform you of the reason for the error. When you’ve fixed the problem, synchronize your order again to find it in your Shopify backoffice. (image 2)
Actions made on orders
Actions taken on orders (send and cancel) which you are are carried out in your Shopify backoffice are automatically transmitted to Lengow, then to the marketplace.
For marketplaces that accept it, the refund must be made from the Lengow platform ("Orders" tab).
