Contact the marketplace to know if you are eligible to sell your products on their website.

To display your products on this marketplace, check that your products catalogue contains the data normally required.

Note: you don't have these values in your products catalogue? Contact the Lengow Support Team to find an alternative.

EAN Matching

Decathlon allows the EAN Matching, which means you can match your offers with products already existing in their database.

When adding a new offer, the import process must identify the product associated with the offer.

There are several ways to match an offer with a product :

  • Using a product unique identifier: EAN, ISBN, and so on.
  1. In the "product-id-type" field, enter "EAN" (or ISBN, or else).
  2. In the "product-id" field, enter the unique identifier value.
  •  Using your internal product SKU.

You must have previously sent your product SKU to the channel via the product import process. There are two ways to match the product with the offer:

  1. If your offer SKU is the same as your product SKU (which is different from the operator product SKU):
Enter the SKU value in the "sku" field and leave the "product-id" and "product-id-type" fields empty.
  2. If your offer SKU is not the same as your product SKU:
    1. In the "sku" field, enter your offer SKU.
    2. In the "product-id-type" field, enter "SHOP_SKU".
    3. In the "product-id" field, enter your product SKU value.
When updating an offer, Mirakl uses only the SKU field. If the "product-id" and "product-id-type" fields are specified, the process checks that the corresponding product is the same as the one already assigned to the offer.

Add a channel catalogue

To add the Decathlon channel to your account, select the country "Belgium"
Using this channel you will be able to choose in which of the following countries you wish to publish your products: Belgium, France, Germany, Spain, United Kingdom, Italy, Netherlands, Poland and Portugal.
Check out this step to know more about the multi-country settings.

Add a channel catalogue in your Lengow account.

Match Categories

Match your categories using "Categories Matching".

Complete Attributes Matching

Match your products catalogue fields with the fields requested by the channel, based on fields definitions. If necessary, enter hard values, use functions and/or adapt the values by creating rules. For fields with valid values, select the suggested value or match with your products catalogue values.

If a value is missing in the drop-down menu, please contact your channel account manager and ask for the creation of the concerned value.

Some fields are mandatory and must be completed for your products to be created or updated. Other fields are optional but the channel recommends you fill them in to improve your products visibility.

Multi-country settings

The countries where you wish to publish your products must be activated in your Mirakl back-office.

On the Lengow platform, specific products and offers attributes are available depending on the countries of publication:

  • For your products data (title, description, etc.), use the attributes containing the country code corresponding to each publication country and language.
For example for the Spanish market, use the product attributes containing "es_ES":
    • "productTitle-es_ES",
    • "longDescription-es_ES", etc.
  • For your offers data (price, etc.), it depends if you're publishing your products in one or several countries:
    • If you're publishing your products in one country only (and you have one active channel in your Mirakl back-office), use these attributes:
      • "price",
      • "discount-price", "discount-start-date" and "discount-end-date" for your promotions.
    • If you're publishing in several countries (and you have several active channels in your Mirakl back-office), you have to fill in the offers attributes specific to each country, containing "channel=XX".
Example for the French market, fill in these attributes:
      • "price[channel=FR]",
      • "discount-price[channel=FR]", "discount-start-date[channel=FR]" and "discount-end-date[channel=FR]" for your promotions.
The category thesaurus (in French) is common to all countries.  Only one products catalogue can be the source of a channel. If your product information for different countries is split among several catalogues, you can:
  • use other catalogues as additional sources to the main catalogue.
  • create a global catalogue containing your data for all countries, for example through a reprocessing (chargeable if done by Lengow).

1. Set up your special offers/sales

To set up special offers/sales, fill in the following fields:

  • "price": strikethrough price of your product (original price). If your product is not discounted, this field must be filled in with your usual selling price.
  • "discount-price": discounted price of your product.
  • "discount-start-date" (optional): the date on which your promotion/sale begins. If you fill in this field and the "discount_price" field, the promotion will only begin on the date provided. Format: yyyy-mm-dd
  • "discount-end-date" (optional): the date on which your promotion/sale ends. If you fill in this field and the "discount_price" field, the promotion will stop on the date provided. Format: yyyy-mm-dd
Sales: To find out the deadline for sending your on sales data, please contact your channel account manager.

2. Delivery method and costs

Shipping costs and delivery methods are defined by the channel. Contact it to obtain the table of costs.

2.1. Delivery methods

Select delivery methods in your channel back office.

2.2. Shipping costs

Please note that each product is linked to a logistics category. The shipping costs are calculated on the basis of:

  • the delivery method linked to the product
  • the logistics category linked to the product

For the logistics category, you may choose between several options:

Keep the logistics category assigned by default by the channel. In that case, no action needs to be taken by you in Lengow.

OR

Change the logistics category assigned by default by the channel. In that case, fill in the field "logistic_class" (contact your channel account manager to obtain the list of authorized values).

Shipping policy specificities for Benelux and Luxembourg:

  • Free shipping with a minimum order value of 59€
  • Standard shipping fees: 3,99€ for orders below 59€
  • Bikes and bulky (2-man handling products/orders) are not eligible for free shipping MOV

2.3. leadtime-to-ship

It corresponds to the time (in days) necessary to prepare an order.

Lead time to ship can be useful for built-on-demand products which need to be built, prepared, and packaged before they are sent. In this case you can specify a lead time to ship of five days for example, so that the customer knows that it will take five days before you ship the order.

By default, the preparation time is 2 working days (excluding Saturday and Sunday). You can change this preparation delay from 1 to 45 days at any time.
Note: Go to your Mirakl back office if you want to set up free shipping costs for all your products.

3. Variation values

Decathlon accepts size and/or color product variations.

To set your product variations in Lengow, fill in the following attribute with your product's "parent" identifier:

  • parentProductId

Note: The parent identifier is the common ID that groups all the variants of a product.

Parent products must be excluded from the feed sent to Decathlon, if your products catalogue contains any.

Manage your Exclusions

Follow the usual instructions for exclusions for this channel.

Are there product variations in your catalogue? Check whether the parent products should be excluded or not in the step dedicated to variations.

Preview your data

Channel's news

Find here the latest changes/communications from the channel and what you have to do in Lengow:

28 April 2022 - Some attributes become mandatory, others optional
  • To sum up

Some attributes will change type (optional to mandatory and vice versa) as of 28/04/22.
Completing the attributes that will become mandatory can be done from now on. A first quality control will be done by Decathlon on 18/04/22.

  • What you have to do in Lengow

At the Attributes Matching step, make sure you complete the fields listed by Decathlon in the email sent to you by the marketplace. If these attributes are not completed, your products may no longer be displayed.

20 April 2022 - Lead time to ship update
  • To sum up

The calculation of the lead time to ship is from now on based only on business days, Monday to Friday, excludind Saturday and Sunday.

  • What you have to do in Lengow

Lead time to ship is by default 2 business days. If needed, you can adjust the delay  between 1 and 45 days. Delivery time will not be impacted.

  • Original message

Our Marketplace platform partner Mirakl recently updated the calculation of the lead time to ship, a parameter in order to include only business days. [...]

From now on also Saturday (in addition to Sunday) is excluded in the calculation of the lead time to ship. In other words, the calculation of the lead time to ship will be based only on the next business days: Monday to Friday 📦 It will help you to be more agile and precise on the delivery promise, so it will reduce late shipment rate and increase customer satisfaction.

For example: if I fill a 3 days lead time to ship on my offers as a seller, I'll have to ship my Friday orders on Wednesday at the latest (because we exclude Saturday + Sunday). After this calculation we add the delivery time filled at the shop level.

Please note:
The parameter by default of the lead time to ship is now 2 business days if you do'n fill anything at your offer level. Otherwise you can put a delay between 1 to 45 days (in discussion with your Key Account Manager).

This parameter will impact only the lead time to ship and not the delivery time.

21st January 2022 - New size grid values
  • To sum up

21st of January 2022, Decathlon evolves its size grid values (both numbers and name). Make sure your values are matching with the new one in order to keep update and publish your products.

  • What you have to do in Lengow

At the Attributes Matching step, make sure for fields refering to size, that your values all match with one from Decathlon's list. Therefore, match values which would be not linked yet.

  • Original message

[...] the size grid values will change, in order to display both, the grid number and the grid name when choosing the needed values.

Here is an example to clarify:

A French value 38 (international S) for a T-shirt:

  ID English Value French Value
Current Z349_38

UK S FR 38

38
NEW Z349_38 UK S FR 38 / (Z349: SIZE MEN TOP) 38 / (Z349: TAILLE HOMME HAUT)

This change will allow you to fill in the correct data for your products.

One little warning: for all partners importing products from files, please note that in order to add new products or update existing ones, you will need to download a new template from Mirakl.

Moreover, for partners importing products via API or external integrators using values instead of IDs, please take note of the change and make sure to implement it in your future product imports.

The change will be active from 21st of January. [...]
