When confirming shipping in your back office, a specific carrier is currently selected for each country.
Each selection corresponds to a different tracking link, with the landing page presented in French, Italian, or Spanish based on the customer's location.

Instead of a country-specific carrier system, there will be a singular carrier in the list applicable to all countries, leading to a unique tracking link for customers based on their location.

What you have to do in Lengow

This transition will occur in two stages to minimize disruption to your order management process:

On 05/02/2024, the carriers that are least frequently used will be updated
On 19/02/2024, the remaining carriers, which are more commonly used, will also undergo the update

  • If you process your orders manually on Mirakl: you should not encounter any problems.
  • If you are using the API: the old country values will be removed. Therefore, make sure you are using the updated list of carriers and their corresponding values.

Dear Seller,

In order to improve operational processes within our Marketplace, and to provide our customers with reliability and the best navigation experience, we will soon make some changes on the back office that might impact order management on your side.

What is going to happen?

At the moment, when you confirm the shipping in the back office you can choose one carrier per country. For example, depending on the country where the order was made, you have UPS France (FR_UPS), UPS Italy (IT_UPS), or UPS Spain (ES_UPS) to choose from the drop down menu that corresponds to a different tracking link for the customer, as the landing page will either be in French, Italian, or Spanish accordingly.

➡️ Mirakl wants to get rid of this division and have a unique carrier in the list, regardless of the country, that will correspond to a unique link for the customer who will land on a tracking page based on his location.

When is this going to happen?

The change will take place at two different times in order to reduce the impact on your order management process:

On the 05/02/2024 we will change the carriers in Mirakl that are least used
On the 19/02/2024 we will change the remaining carriers in Mirakl (the most used).
We will send another communication as a reminder one week before we make the final change, in case you need to make any adjustments in your internal order management system.

What does it mean for you?

If you manage your orders manually on Mirakl, you should not have any issues. However, if you are working by API, please be aware that the old values per country will be removed, as mentioned above. As a result, make sure you are using the updated list of carriers and their corresponding values.
