Price
Several price attributes are available:
- "net-price" (mandatory): price excluding tax.
- "Angebotspreis - price" (mandatory): offer price including tax.
- "base-price" (optional): Price for the basic unit in EUR. Example the price per m² for laminate flooring.
To activate the base price, set the "switch-to-base-price" attribute to "Ja", and provide the correct base unit in the "Basis-ME attr.baseunits" attribute (Stück, Meter, Rolle, etc.) at category level.
Tax
In the "Ausgangssteuer (DE) attr.outputtax#DE" (at category level), specify the tax rate at which the item is sold.
Select either "Halbe Steuer" (7%) or "Volle Steuer" (19%), as the other values are not active.
[channel=INITIAL]
There is no need to complete the [channel=INITIAL] attributes ("price[channel=INITIAL]", "discount-price[channel=INITIAL]", etc.), as they override the generic price attributes.
This type of attributes is only used when publishing in several countries, which is not the case.
Images, documents & videos
Provide the main product image in the "Bild 01 image01" attribute.
Recommended size:
- minimum 1200x1000px
- 5:4 format
It is recommended to specify the type of image in the corresponding "Bild 01 Typ image01_type" attribute: 360°, Detail, Produktbild (product image), etc.
You can provide up to 10 images per product.
Likewise, specify the type of document or video in the "document0x_type" and "video0x_type" attributes.
Brand
Provide the brand of the article in the "Artikelmarke attr.brand" attribute (at category level), by selecting the brand in the dropdown menu.
If you need to add new brands (or new valid values for another attribute), ask for their creation by email to your HORNBACH partner manager.
FSC Certification
For several categories, the "FSC zertifiziert? attr.environmentkey" attribute is mandatory, even for non-wood products.
In the "Holz bzw. Holzfasern enthalten? attr.wood_included" attribute, you have to clarify if the product contains wood (Ja/Nein).
General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)
To comply with the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) applicable from December 13, 2024 in the European Union, you must provide to HORNBACH the following information about your products through attributes available in Lengow:
- "attr-manufacturer-name"
- "attr-manufacturer-tradename"
- "attr-manufacturer-trademark"
- "attr-manufacturer-email"
- "attr-manufacturer-website"
- "attr-manufacturer-country"
- "attr-manufacturer-city"
- "attr-manufacturer-postalcode"
- "attr-manufacturer-street"
- "attr-manufacturer-housenumber"
- "attr-manufacturer-postofficebox"
If the manufacturer is not established in the European Union, use these attributes to provide the contact of the Responsible Person in the EU:

- "attr-economicoperator-country"
- "attr-economicoperator-city"
- "attr-economicoperator-postalcode"
- "attr-economicoperator-street"

You must also provide any warnings or safety information displayed on the product itself, its packaging, or in an accompanying document.
Energy Efficiency Class
The following information is required to display an item in the front end with all relevant information on its energy efficiency class (EEC).
The relevant attributes are available in Lengow (at category level):
- "attr.energyefficiency_relevant": This option specifies whether the item is energy efficiency relevant. Please indicate whether the item is energy efficiency relevant by selecting “YES” or “NO.”
- "attr.energieeffizienzklasse": Select the appropriate energy efficiency class for the item from the specified value list.
- "attr.energielableart": Specify the energy label type of the item by selecting the corresponding value from the specified value list.
Provide additional elements using these common attributes in Lengow:
- "document01#de-DE": Link a PDF document to the item that contains the product data sheets for the energy efficiency class.
- "document01_type": Select "EEK – Productdatenblatt" as the document type to ensure that the correct document with the required information is linked.
- "image02": Add an image that visualizes the energy efficiency class.
- "image02_type": Select “Energieeffizienzklasse” as the image type to ensure that the image is correctly linked to the corresponding energy efficiency class.
