Requirements

To publish your products on the Octopia network via Lengow, the following conditions must be met:

- Products must first be live on Cdiscount

Cdiscount is mandatory: your products must be created and live on Cdiscount before they can be listed on any other Octopia sales channel.

- Authorization from Octopia for each new sales channel

For each new marketplace you want to sell on via Octopia, you must be authorized by Octopia for that specific sales channel.
Only marketplaces activated in your Octopia seller account can then be used and configured in Lengow.

Note: Sending offer data for an unauthorized marketplace will result in an error in the channel report

- Product content must be in French

Product data (titles, descriptions, etc.) sent from Lengow to Octopia must be in French. 
Localization is managed by Octopia, which takes care of translating your product content into the appropriate language for each marketplace.

 Octopia's onboarding team supports merchants through KYC (Know Your Customer) checks and account validation. 

How Octopia works in Lengow

The Octopia channel simplifies setup by using one unified feed structure for all Octopia marketplaces. 
When you activate a new Octopia sales channel, the additional attributes specific to that marketplace are displayed in Lengow. 

Configure your Octopia channel

- Case 1: You already have a Cdiscount Octopia channel

A "Sales channels" tab is now present in the Settings of your Cdiscount & Octopia Network channel in Lengow. 
If you are authorized by Octopia to sell on a marketplace, this sales channel will be displayed in this section. 

- Case 2: This is your first Octopia channel

When searching to add your target marketplace in Lengow, use the Multi Country filter: the Cdiscount & Octopia Network channel will show up in the search results. 

Because products must be live on Cdiscount before any other Octopia channel, Cdiscount is initially the only sales channel available in the "Sales channels" tab in the Settings of your Octopia channel.

Begin by setting up the Cdiscount sales channel within the Octopia connector. 

Once the API connection with Octopia is established, any additional marketplace you are authorized by Octopia will be available in the "Sales channels" tab.

Activate additional Octopia marketplaces

Select the sales channel(s) you want to activate in the "Sales channels" tab. 

For each new sales channel activated, Lengow displays the additional channel‑specific attributes you need to fill in.

These attributes are mainly prices, which are defined for each sales channel. Provide the prices in the local currency of the marketplace country.

 Stock is unified across all Octopia marketplaces.

How to remove offers

To stop selling an offer on all Octopia marketplaces, send a stock value of 0 from Lengow.

In your Octopia seller back office, you have the option to delete an offer for a specific sales channel (except Cdiscount).

 Do not deselect a marketplace in the "Sales channels" tab, as your offers would remain online. Instead, deactivate the marketplace in your Octopia Seller.

Order management

Lengow retrieves orders for all your active Octopia marketplaces.

- Identifying the marketplace for Octopia orders

• In the Lengow platform: The order number contains the sales channel ID, which lets you know from which Octopia marketplace the order originates. 
  Ex: BEBEFR123456 for a Bebeboutik order
• Via API: Marketplace identification is provided in the order metadata:
  • "CorporationCode": Sales Channel ID
  • "CorporationName": Sales Channel Name
     

- Order statuses & actions

These two statuses are available for Cdiscount only:

• WaitingAcceptance 
• Refused

Partial shipping (line-level) is not supported for Cdiscount, but it is available for all other Octopia marketplaces.

Partial order refund (line-level) is available for all Octopia marketplaces.
