What does this error mean?
This error occurs because the marketplace requires a plain-text product description. If your "description" attribute is completely empty, or if it contains HTML tags (such as <p>, <br>, or <b>), the marketplace's system cannot read it properly and will reject the product, flagging the description as missing or invalid.
How to solve it
To fix this, go to the Attributes Mapping step of your channel configuration and follow these steps:
Verify the attribute is populated: First, check that your products actually have text mapped to the "description" attribute.
Remove HTML tags: If the description is populated but contains HTML formatting, you need to clean it. You can easily do this by applying the STRIPHTML function directly to your "description" field in the mapping. This will automatically strip away all HTML tags and send only plain text.
Resynchronize your feed: Once your mapping is updated and the formatting is cleaned, trigger a manual product synchronization (full push) to send the corrected descriptions to the marketplace.
