Spartoo is updating its technical requirements for product images to align with Google Shopping quality standards and enhance the visual experience on product pages. All merchants selling on Spartoo must ensure their image catalogue meets these requirements before 1 November 2026 to avoid product rejection or deactivation.

Minimum image dimensions of 500 × 500 pixels are required immediately for all newly created products. Starting 1 November 2026, Spartoo will automatically reject or deactivate any product listing whose images do not meet this minimum size.

Technical Integration in Lengow
Lengow maps and publishes up to eight image URLs to Spartoo via your product feed based on your attribute configuration.
Connector Behaviour
The Lengow connector transmits image URLs directly to Spartoo without pre-inspecting dimensions, ratios, or file formats. Image validation is performed entirely on Spartoo's side upon feed ingestion.
Recommended Action Plan
- Audit your media catalogue: Review your active product images to identify any files below 500 × 500 pixels or not formatted as square JPGs.
- Update media assets: Replace non-compliant images on your media server before 1 November 2026. We recommend uploading images of at least 800 × 800 pixels to enable the interactive zoom functionality on Spartoo.
- Verify attribute mapping: Ensure image URLs are correctly assigned to your Spartoo channel attributes within Lengow to guarantee smooth data synchronisation.
