Ce qui change

OTTO a annoncé des mises à jour de ses règles concernant la manière dont les marchands présentent les allégations de durabilité et les garanties des produits sur otto.de. 

- Interdiction prochaine des allégations environnementales génériques

À partir d’avril 2027, les termes environnementaux génériques tels que "nachhaltig" (durable), "umweltfreundlich" (respectueux de l’environnement) et "klimaneutral" (neutre pour le climat) ne seront plus autorisés sur OTTO.

Les vendeurs doivent supprimer de manière proactive ces termes du contenu de leurs produits. OTTO masque déjà le contenu contenant ces termes génériques lorsque l’article est en concurrence, en termes de visibilité, avec des offres d’autres partenaires.

- PDF obligatoires pour les garanties du fabricant

Lorsqu’une garantie du fabricant est indiquée, les conditions de garantie détaillées doivent être transmises au format PDF. 
À partir du 16 septembre 2026, OTTO bloquera tout produit nouvellement soumis ou mis à jour mentionnant une garantie du fabricant si le PDF correspondant est manquant. 
Pour les produits existants, OTTO avertit que leur visibilité pourra être limitée à l’avenir si le PDF est manquant. 

La transmission de cette documentation est également une étape nécessaire si vos produits peuvent bénéficier du label GARAN (garanties prolongées volontaires). Pour ce label, renseignez les attributs "Herstellergarantie Gesamtprodukt" et "Modellbezeichnung".

Ce que vous devez faire dans Lengow

Pour garantir que vos produits restent visibles et éligibles à la vente sur otto.de, effectuez les actions suivantes dans Lengow :

• Auditer les titres et les descriptions : dans votre catalogue produits, recherchez et supprimez les mots-clés environnementaux génériques (par ex. nachhaltig, umweltfreundlich, klimaneutral) de vos titres et descriptions.
• Vérifier les attributs de garantie : si vous mentionnez une garantie du fabricant dans l’attribut "Herstellergarantie Gesamtprodukt" ou "Bedingte Herstellergarantie", assurez-vous que l’URL du PDF de garantie est fournie dans Lengow. 
  Dans les attributs communs, ajoutez un champ "mediaAssets" (voir la capture d'écran ci-dessous), entrez dans "mediaAssets.type" la valeur "MANUFACTURER_WARRANTY", et indiquez l'URL du fichier PDF de la garantie dans "mediaAssets.location".
  Si un article ne bénéficie d’aucune garantie, assurez-vous que tous les attributs de garantie sont laissés vides.

Changes to environmental and sustainability claims

From April 2027, certain generic environmental and sustainability claims will no longer be permitted on otto.de. Terms such as “nachhaltig”, “umweltfreundlich” and “klimaneutral” must therefore be removed from the content in good time so that the products remain eligible for sale.

Please take these changes into account when creating and submitting product data and coordinate the required changes with the merchants you support. Content containing one of the terms listed above is already not displayed if the item competes with offers from other partners. GARAN label for voluntary manufacturer warranties

The GARAN label applies to a voluntary, free-of-charge manufacturer warranty that goes beyond the statutory warranty, covers the entire product, lasts longer than two years and is offered without additional costs or conditions.

To generate the GARAN label, the attributes “Herstellergarantie Gesamtprodukt” and “Modellbezeichnung” as well as a PDF containing the detailed manufacturer warranty terms are required. For warranties that apply only under certain conditions or to parts or components of the product, please use the attribute “Bedingte Herstellergarantie”. No GARAN label is generated in this case.

Missing manufacturer warranty terms

For some products, a manufacturer warranty is currently entered using the attribute “Herstellergarantie Gesamtprodukt” or “Bedingte Herstellergarantie”, but the corresponding manufacturer warranty terms have not been provided as a PDF.

Whenever a manufacturer warranty is specified, the corresponding warranty terms must be available as a PDF. For submission via the user interface, use the document type “Garantiebedingungen”. For submission via API, use manufacturer_warranty.

If no manufacturer warranty applies to a product, the corresponding attribute must be removed from the product data. From 16 September 2026, products with a manufacturer warranty can only be newly submitted or updated if the corresponding warranty terms are available as a PDF. Products that have already been published will initially remain online. The visibility of products with incomplete warranty information may be restricted in the future.
