Why do I need to update permissions?
To support Shopify Markets, Lengow requires access to new data categories in your store. Updating your app permissions allows Lengow to retrieve localized information such as:
- Market-specific pricing and currencies (e.g., Mexican Peso for your Mexico market).
- Regional availability and catalogue settings.
- Locales and translations for international listings.
How to update permissions
Follow these steps to authorize the new permissions in your Shopify admin:
1. Access the Lengow app
Go to your Shopify Admin > Settings > Apps and sales channels. Select Lengow from the list. You will see a blue banner stating "Update required for new Markets".
Click the "Open app" button in the top right corner.
2. Review the new permissions
You will be redirected to a Shopify authorization page. This page outlines that Lengow needs access to "View other data," which includes your Shopify Markets settings and translations.
3. Confirm and update
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click the "Update" button.
4. Final Validation
Once confirmed, you will be automatically redirected back to the platform, and your permissions will be officially updated.
