Mapping your Shopify carriers with marketplace carriers ensures that orders sent include the correct carrier codes. This helps maintain accuracy in tracking and order fulfillment. If you have any issue on the forwarding of carrier from Shopify to the Marketplace, do not hesitate to check and modify the carrier mapping.
Complete the following steps to configure carrier mapping:
1. Access the Carrier Configuration Section
- Log in to your Lengow account.
- Navigate to the "settings" tab.
- Click on "Edit carriers" under the "Shipping Carrier Configuration section".
2. Select a Marketplace for Carrier Mapping
- In the carriers configuration page, you will see a list of available countries marketplaces.
- Use the search bar to find the marketplace where you need to map carriers.
- Click on the desired marketplace to expand the carrier mapping section.
3. Map the Shopify carriers to the ones used by the marketplace
- Under the selected marketplace, you will see a list of its carriers (e.g., CDC, DHL).
- Click on the drop-down list next to a marketplace carrier to choose the corresponding Shopify carrier.
- Select in the available list the correct Shopify carrier that matches the marketplace carrier. If the carrier is not available, enter "Other".
- Repeat the process for each marketplace carrier you need to map.
When a carrier is selected in the Shopify carrier list, a message in green will appear on the bottom left of the screen stating that the "carrier mapping is saved successfully".
Also, the "link" icon on the right turns green indicating the number of carrier you have mapped.
Once completed, orders processed through Shopify will correctly translate carrier codes when sent to the marketplace.
If you have multiple Shopify catalogues connected to the same channel, each catalogue will require a separate mapping.
If your catalogue is reprocessed, mapping carrier cannot be applied.
