Error message
This listing has too many variations. Reduce the number of variations to 250 or less and try again.
What does this error mean?
This error occurs because your product listing exceeds eBay's strict limit of 250 variations. Keep in mind that eBay counts both the active "SKUs" you are currently sending in your feed and any historical or deleted variants still tied to that listing in their system.
How to solve it
To resolve this issue, follow these steps:
Check your Lengow feed: First, verify the number of variations for the affected product family in your Lengow catalog. Ensure you are not actually sending more than 250 active variants.
Clean up your eBay interface: If your feed contains fewer than 250 variants, the error is likely caused by historical data. Log into your eBay seller interface and manually remove any obsolete or hidden variants tied to this listing.
End and recreate the listing: If manual cleanup does not work, end the listing directly on eBay. Once it is ended, trigger a manual full push in Lengow to recreate the listing from scratch with a fresh variant count.
Contact eBay support: If you have verified that your total "SKU" count is well below the limit and the error persists, reach out to eBay seller support for further assistance.
