Use this import method if your product catalogue comes from your Salesforce Commerce Cloud platform.

Cartridge Installation

The Lengow Salesforce Cartridge connects your Salesforce Commerce Cloud store to Lengow. It automates the export of your product catalogue so your listings can be distributed, enriched, and synchronized across all your Lengow channels.

A developer with administrator access to your Salesforce instance will download the Lengow SFCC cartridge from this GitHub link and install it. 

 The installation process is detailed in GitHub, in the README document. The steps 1 to 3c detailed in the Developer guide must be followed closely.
The sections below correspond to steps 4 to 7.

Export Setup

Once the cartridge is installed, follow the steps below to configure an export job.

The purpose of a scheduled export job is to regularly pick up your data from SFCC, create a feed in the requested format and send it to your SFTP server (not to an unsecured FTP), where Lengow can retrieve it.

1. SFTP service configuration

The services should already be created. You now need to update the SFTP credentials of the "lengow.sftp" service.

Follow these steps:

1. In the Salesforce Business Manager, navigate to "Administration" > "Operations" > "Services" > "Credentials" tab.
2. Edit "lengow.sftp.credentials":
   • URL: sftp://your-sftp-host (the "sftp://" scheme is required - add ":port" if it is not "22").
   • User: your SFTP username
   • Password: your SFTP password
     
     

3. Verify that the "lengow.sftp" service ("Services" tab) is enabled with type "SFTP".
   
   
    

2. Export job configuration

The job should already be created. In the "Jobs" > "Job Steps" tab in Salesforce, configure the two following steps in order:

- Step 1: "custom.LengowCatalogFeed"

Scope: select the relevant site(s). 

- Step 2: "custom.LengowUploadFeed"

Scope: select "Organization" (not a specific site). 

3. Schedule

In the Schedule and History tab, set a recurrence (recommended: every 6 to 12 hours).

Attributes and Locales Selection

Once installed, you can manage what data is sent to Lengow from Salesforce:

1. Select your site (top left).
2. Go to "Merchant Tools" > "Lengow" > "Export Attributes Configurations".
3. Select Product Attributes:
   • "ID" is automatically included.
   • Tick all the attributes you wish to send to Lengow (ex: color, size, brand, EAN, etc.) in both the mandatory and additional attributes tabs.
      Click "Save" after each attribute selection (mandatory and additional).
4. Select Locales (Languages):
   • Choose which active store locales you want to export (ex: en_GB, fr_FR, etc.).
     Note: Each selected language generates its own feed file and will correspond to a separate catalogue in Lengow.
   • If a language is missing, add it in "Administration" > "Sites" > "Manage Sites" > [site] > "General"
      

Settings in Lengow

In the "Catalogues" tab in Lengow:

• Click on "Add a new catalogue".
• Select "Salesforce Commerce Cloud" as the import method.
   

• Enter the login details of the SFTP where your SFCC export is deposited, configured at the "SFTP service configuration" step.
  Enter the Host, Path, File name, Port, Login and Password.

Note: the file name and its path must not be changed.

• Then follow the usual requested steps in the Lengow platform.  

 Repeat this step for each locale, as you'll need to add a catalogue in Lengow for each exported language (en_GB, fr_FR, etc.).

Check that the export ran successfully

You can launch the job manually by clicking on the "Run Now" button in Salesforce, to confirm that your data is flowing properly. 

Check these points:

• In Salesforce:
  • In "Administration" > "Operations" > "Jobs", check that the Status is "OK" (and not "Error).
• On your SFTP Server:
  • Check your designated folder to ensure the latest CSV file has been deposited.
• In Lengow:
  • In the Catalogues tab, check the Last Import status and timestamp.
  • Verify that the total number of imported products matches your expected catalogue size.
  • Locales: Ensure the product names are in the expected language and the prices carry the expected currency.
