To sell on the Amazon marketplace, products must have an EAN/GTIN validated by GS1.
However, there are cases where you may not have an EAN/GTIN (for example, a product sold under a private label or a handcrafted product).
In such cases, you must request an exemption from Amazon to allow the creation and publication of an offer without an EAN/GTIN.
More information in Amazon Seller Central
Once the exemption is granted, activate the following option in Lengow, at the Settings step of your Amazon channel: "Allow to send products without ProductID (requires an Amazon derogation)"
Â
For the products exempted from EAN/GTIN, the related product identifier attributes may remain empty at the Attributes mapping step in Lengow:
- "externally_assigned_product_identifier.type_01"
- "externally_assigned_product_identifier.value_01"
