🔧 Amazon - Error - Listing Data Conflict: Attribute ‘size’ Does Not Match Amazon Catalogue

Amazon error message (example)

The listing data you provided is different from what is already in the Amazon catalog. The provided item_id corresponds to ASIN B0BL7RCBFG, but some of your listing data conflicts with what is in the Amazon catalog. The following listing attribute value(s) conflict with one or more values in the Amazon catalog: 'size' (Merchant ["3 mois (62cm)"]/Amazon [fr_FR: "3 mois", fr_BE: "3 mois", en_GB: "3 months" and 7 other variants: nl_NL, it_IT, en_IE, pl_PL, de_DE, sv_SE, es_ES]).

What does this error mean

This error occurs when the value you send for an attribute (in this case, 'size') does not match the value already registered in the Amazon catalogue for the same ASIN. Amazon expects consistency across all sellers for the same product.

Example: Your value: "3 months (62cm)"
Amazon value: "3 months"

How to fix this error

Amazon suggests three possible actions:

  1. If your product has identical ASIN, update your listing attribute 'size' so that it matches Amazon’s value (for example here: 3 months).
  2. If you are the owner of the product detail page, you can delete the product from your Seller account and resubmit it with the updated values.
