Lengow is making your offer data move faster, so price and stock changes reach channels quickly, improving competitiveness, accuracy, and efficiency - without any action required on your part.
How offer updates work today
Currently, your catalogue is retrieved by Lengow from its source - such as a URL link, FTP, or e-commerce platform - typically every hour. Then, your offers (prices, stock levels, etc.) are collected by marketplaces or marketing channels, often every 15 minutes or every hour, depending on the channel.
Find each channel's frequency at the Launch / Update frequency step in each guide.
What is changing?
Our ongoing improvement allows Lengow to update your offer data (prices and stock levels) on marketplaces and marketing channels with minimal delay. This means that the time between when your catalogue changes and when those changes appear on your channels will now be reduced to just a few minutes! It helps your products stay competitive and accurate by transmitting offer changes quickly.
This feature isn’t just a technical improvement - it’s a fundamental shift in how Lengow ensures your data stays aligned with the pace of e-commerce.
Key Benefits:
-
Stay competitive with faster price updates
When you adjust a price in your catalogue, the new value is pushed to channels through Lengow within minutes, helping you keep pace with market movements. -
Reduce out-of-stock situations
Stock levels are refreshed more quickly so unavailable products aren’t offered, improving customer experience and avoiding marketplace penalties. -
Less manual work
Faster automatic updates for prices and stocks mean fewer corrections and time-consuming interventions.
Example:
You notice a competitor lowering the price of a product on a marketplace. You update your own price in your catalogue.
Thanks to this improved update frequency, that new price is reflected on the marketplace within minutes, helping you remain competitive and win the sale.
How will it roll out?
Faster update frequency is being introduced progressively across sources and channels, and will expand over time.
- Progressive release: It will first be available for specific sources and channels, and then extended step by step to more marketplaces, marketing channels, and data types.
- No action is required on your side: the improvements will be automatic - you’ll just notice that your data gets to channels faster.
- Focus on "hot data": Prices and stock updates are the priority, given their critical business impact.
👉 This means that you may notice faster updates on some channels before others, depending on your setup and where the rollout currently stands.
