💡 How to get compliant with the 2021 VAT legislation?

2021 VAT legislation

Legislation is evolving regarding VAT for cross-border e-commerce.

You already received communications from marketplaces regarding what you have to do in your feed and/or marketplaces backoffice to make sure you are compliant with 2021 regulations.

Most of the time you have a field to fill in your back office. This is especially the case for Mirakl marketplaces. For other marketplaces, you sometimes have to declare your shipping from country to your account manager. Follow guidelines they have shared with you.

  • If all your orders are shipped from the country you declared to the marketplace, you have nothing more to do in Lengow.
  • If country from where you ship orders differ for some products, you will have to specify it in the Attributes mapping or at the orders management stage in Lengow (or through API if you use it to manage orders). What you have to do in Lengow may vary from a channel to the other.

From the Lengow side, we are updated our marketplaces guides with a dedicated page regarding this topic, so that you'll know exactly what you have to do in Lengow.

Follow the link below to reach it.

We will update the list in following weeks/months according to marketplaces official communications.
So if the channel you are looking for is not listed down here, this means we have not get their information yet. Please come back later.
Some channels are not impacted or actions are to be done only in your channel's back-office.
Here is their list as far as we know: Bol.com, Decathlon BE, El Corte Inglés, Idealo Direktkauf, La Redoute, MacWay, Maisons du Monde, Privalia ES, Privalia IT, Veepee.
