📣 Bol.com - News - 25th April 2022 - Mandatory CE-marking rules

  • To sum up

EU regulations demand that per July 1st 2022, a picture of the CE-marking on the product sold is mandatory content for any newly added product in one of the categories that require a CE-marking.
You can find the list of product groups here.

Bol.com brings forward this deadline to April 25th.

  • What you have to do in Lengow

You are required to provide the following content:

  • You have have until 1 July to add the picture of the CE-marking for existing products, and fill in the attributes “CE-markering” and “Handelsnaam en contactadres importeur of fabrikant in EU”.
(= Trade name and contact address of importer or manufacturer in EU).
After July 1, if the above product information has not been provided, the product will be taken offline.
  • From April 25, photos of the CE-marking must be added to the new products that you upload. You must also add the trade name and contact address of the importer or manufacturer in the EU.

If no action is taken, products that are now online but are in the product group that require CE-marking will be taken offline.

Note: If the CE-marking cannot be affixed to the article, a download of the CE-marking on the packaging or the accompanying document, such as a manual, is sufficient.
