Shopify ID & Mirakl
The app allows the synchronisation of orders only with the Shopify ID.
If you are using a Mirakl marketplace, you must fill in the “sku_offer” attribute in your Mirakl channel with the Shopify ID catalogue field.
The Lengow indexer automatically creates Shopify ID for your entire catalogue to collect your products and get your orders via the App.
This ID is blocked by Lengow (mapping Lengow). To avoid any problem while importing orders and retrieving products, it must be used when setting attribute "ID" type for ALL the channels you have chosen. Lengow verifies this ID before the import of orders.
This ID takes the following format: IDproduit_Idvariant (Ex: 12345678901_99876543212) or IDproduit (if invariant)
Where to find orders in Shopify
Go to the “Orders” section in Shopify to view all your orders, including those transmitted through Lengow from marketplaces.
- Use the keyword "Lengow" in the Shopify search bar to filter and display all orders coming from Lengow.
- You can also search directly by order number using the Shopify search engine.
To help you easily identify marketplace orders, we add three tags to each order:
- The marketplace label: This tag identifies the marketplace and may include the country (e.g. cdiscount_fr, amazon_de).
- The order number: Marketplace orders often have a specific prefix or format to help distinguish them.
- The "lengow tag": A dedicated tag (lengow) is added to all orders that came through Lengow.
These tags make it easier to search, filter, and recognize orders within Shopify.
Order Flow & Synchronisation
- In Lengow: Orders first arrive with the status “waiting_acceptance”.
- Import to Shopify: Orders are imported once they reach the status “waiting_shipment”.
- Orders are then synced to your Shopify back office within a few minutes after appearing in Lengow.
- Orders are not accepted automatically by default.
- To enable automatic acceptance, activate the option in Lengow > Orders settings.
Automatic VAT calculation in Shopify
Some marketplaces do not provide a detailed VAT breakdown in the order data sent to Lengow via API. Although the total order amount includes VAT (i.e. it is tax-inclusive), the specific VAT amount per line item is often missing.
The Lengow Shopify App recalculates the VAT amount per product based on your Shopify VAT configuration. This allows us to send back to Shopify the correct VAT breakdown for each item, improving accounting and tax reporting accuracy.
Important: To ensure correct VAT calculations, you must have accurate VAT rates configured in your Shopify store for all applicable products.
In the Order Tab
Find details regarding the origin of the order. The "additional details" block on the left of the screen displays the data that Lengow has recovered from marketplaces such as:
- Marketplace name
- Marketplace SKU
- Whether the marketplace has managed to send it or not
- ...
Action on orders
- Actions taken on orders (send, refund and cancel) in your Shopify backoffice are automatically transmitted to Lengow, then to the marketplace.
- To add tracking information or return tracking information, refer to the dedicated articles.
- To refund an order, please read the dedicated article: How to refund orders directly from Shopify?
Orders error
To ensure that you have no orders in error, Regularly check the "Orders" section of the Lengow platform.
When an error is detected in your order (missing item in the delivery address, non-existent product variation, ...), its synchronization with Shopify cannot be completed. The order is not imported into your Shopify backoffice.
Orders in error are marked with a red banner and an exclamation mark on the order dashboard in your Lengow account. (image 1).
A message will inform you of the reason for the error in the order detail. Once the issue is fixed, synchronize your order again. It will appear in your Shopify backoffice. (image 2)
