💡 Amazon - How to comply with the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR)?

On December 13, 2024, the General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) becomes applicable for non-food products.

You must provide for each product the manufacturer, EU Responsible Person, and warning and safety information to Amazon.

Useful Amazon resources on GPSR:

You can provide this information through Lengow or on the product page in your Amazon Seller.

- In Lengow:

The following attributes are available in Lengow to enter your GPSR data:

  • "dsa_responsible_party_address.value": Contact information of the EU-based Responsible Person for your product.
  • "gpsr_manufacturer_reference.gpsr_manufacturer_email_adress": Contact information of the manufacturer.
The email must be strictly identical to the one provided in Amazon Seller Central - More information here
  • "gpsr_safety_attestation.value": If your product doesn’t require warning and safety information, you can provide a safety attestation (this option is only available for certain products). Select "TRUE" or "FALSE".
  • "compliance_media_source_location_01": URL link to the warning and safety information of the product.
  • "compliance_media_content_type_01": Select the type of warning and safety information provided (user_manual, warranty, etc.).
  • "compliance_media_content_language_01": Select the language and country of the warning and safety information provided (fr_FR, de_AT, etc.).
