With the latest OTTO update, the ShippingProfiles API will allows you to create, edit, and delete shipping profiles, while the Availability API enables SKU-level shipping profile assignments and processing time adjustments. Find here the dedicated documentation provided by OTTO.
Additionally, by the end of March 2025, the Quantities-V2 API will be integrated into the Availability-V1 API, streamlining inventory management.
Following this update, you will have access to newly displayed attributes: "processingTime" and "shippingProfileName". You must fill in these mandatory attributes and reconnect to your OTTO account to continue publishing your products.
What you have to do
You can either fill in the attributes first and then reconnect or reconnect first and then fill in the attributes following these steps:
1. Reconnect to Otto
- Go to the channel settings page.
- Click “Disconnect”, then “Connect to Otto”.
Before proceeding, save any important information displayed here.
2. Log in to Otto partner connect
- If you are not already logged in, you will be redirected to the Otto Partner Connect login page.
3. Accept new permissions
- You will be prompted to accept the updated permissions for the app.
4. Allow access to Market Data
- Grant the necessary permissions to allow the app to access Market data.
5. Confirmation
- The process is now complete! Your Otto Partner App is successfully updated.Â
- You can verify the update by checking that Version 2 (V2) of the app appears under “Installed Apps” in the Otto Partner Connect portal.
6. Assign Your Shipping Profiles
- Fill in the two new attributes: "processingTime" and "shippingProfileName".
"processingTime" describes the time the seller needs to prepare the order for a shipment.Â
Its value must be between 1 and 99 or "DEFAULT", with "DEFAULT" referring to the value set in your back office.
