📣 Cdiscount - News - 03 November 2025 - Order line status change

Starting November 3, 2025, for Cdiscount orders, the order line status in Lengow will change automatically from "accepted" to "waiting_shipment" for orders awaiting shipment.

No action is required on Lengow, but merchants should update any custom API or integration using the line status before that date.

What is changing

On November 3, 2025, Octopia is updating how order line statuses are handled for Cdiscount orders awaiting shipment.

In Lengow, for Cdiscount orders whose global order status is "waiting_shipment" (corresponding to Cdiscount's "InPreparation" status), the line status will now change from "accepted" to "waiting_shipment".

On November 4, 2025, Octopia will also run a data migration, which may update some existing orders (status transitions only).

Note: Cdiscount Octopia still does not support actions at line level.

What you have to do

While no action is required in Lengow, you should review their systems if you:

  • Use the order line status in custom integrations or API workflows,
  • Depend on the "accepted" line status to trigger shipment or fulfillment processes.

Before November 3, ensure that any automation, reporting, or filtering that relies on line status is updated to recognize the new line status.

Original Message

Dear Partner,

As part of the harmonization of order and order line statuses across all Octopia sales channels, a change will be implemented starting November 3, 2025.

1. Context

Until now, the status triggering shipment handling for an order line was:

  • “Accepted” for Cdiscount orders
  • “In preparation” for Octopia orders

Reminder:
This change affects all orders, but only those with the logistics management mode supplyMode="Seller" must be shipped by the sellers.

2. What’s changing

From now on, order lines from all sales channels will transition from “Accepted” to “InPreparation”, for orders whose global status is also “InPreparation”.

This transition will occur automatically, without any action required from the seller.

The line status will now be synchronized with the global order header status and will indicate whether the line is ready to be shipped.

3. Key takeaway

Starting November 3, all order lines that require seller shipment will be those with:

  • a processing mode “Seller” (order.lines[].offer.supplyMode)
  • and a status “InPreparation” (order.lines[].status)

This rule applies to all Octopia orders (including Cdiscount).

This change applies to all sellers using the REST APIs, regardless of the Octopia sales channel.
The documentation will be updated accordingly during October.

4. Reminders

  • Orders with supplyMode="Fulfillment" have the same properties but should not trigger any seller action.
  • The GET /orders API remains filterable by global state, using supplyMode=Seller and status=InPreparation.
  • This change has no impact on accounts with manual order acceptance, which will remain available under the WaitingAcceptance status (also reflected at line level).

On November 4, 2025, a data migration operation will take place. Some orders may be updated (see lastUpdatedDate)—this will only involve status transitions from Accepted to InPreparation, with no other data changes.

Thank you for your attention.
