The Compare Product Detail Page (PDP) is the most granular level of audit. It allows you to perform a direct, side-by-side technical evaluation between your official brand requirements and the live listing on a retailer's website.
Access a side by side comparison
- Navigate to the Re-seller Page.
- Select a specific re-seller.
- Click on a specific product within that re-seller’s list.
This view provides a side-by-side comparison of your brand assets versus the re-seller's assets. NetMonitor provides a similarity score (%) for both the product title and the thumbnail image to help you quantify the level of compliance.
Product Title Comparison
This section compares the text strings provided by your brand against what is actually published by the retailer.
- Content Match: Your official title is displayed next to the retailer’s title.
- Discrepancy Highlighting: Any unauthorized words or modifications found in the retailer’s title (e.g., "Vaporisateur") are highlighted in red for easy identification.
- Metadata Audit: The system compares technical attributes such as total word count and character count.
- Compliance Threshold: Titles follow a strict 100% similarity threshold. If the retailer’s title deviates by even one character, it will be marked as Non-compliant.
Product Main Image Comparison
The image comparison tool audits the visual and technical quality of the primary product thumbnail.
- Visual Side-by-Side: View your official brand image directly next to the retailer's image to check for visual consistency or unauthorized edits.
- Technical Metadata: The system audits hidden data including Format (e.g., AVIF), File Size (e.g., 28kB vs 32kB), and Dimensions (e.g., 1500x1500px).
- Compliance Threshold: Unlike titles, images have a 94% similarity threshold to account for minor compression or formatting differences.
If the score is 94% or higher, the status is Compliant. If the score falls below 94%, the status is Non-compliant.
Understanding the Verdicts
At the top of the comparison page, a final verdict is displayed. A listing is only "Compliant" if both the title and the image meet their respective thresholds.
You can provide feedback on the automated assessment by clicking the "Thumbs Up" or "Thumbs Down" icons. This helps refine the accuracy of the similarity scoring engine for your specific products.
