The marketplace Decathlon is updating its taxonomy, with a new "Apparel, Footwear, Accessories" category.
What is changing
The current "Apparel" category will be replaced by a new one : "Apparel, Footwear, Accessories"
On the 12th of May, 2026, the new taxonomy will be available in Lengow. Both taxonomies will coexist for a transition period.

What you have to do in Lengow
Categories
For any of your categories that were mapped to an "Apparel" category, you must re-map these categories to the newly created "Apparel, Footwear, Accessories" category. The old and new taxonomies will coexist temporarily, giving you plenty of time to make the transition at your own pace.
For your new products, don't use the old taxonomy anymore. Make sure to add your new product directly to the new taxonomy.
Attributes
Mapping new categories will result in the display of the corresponding category-specific attributes, in the "Attributes" section.
There will be no new mandatory attributes. On the contrary, the overall number of attributes has been reduced by 65%.
