From 6th January 2025, Conforama will require new mandatory attributes in many categories.
Make sure you fill in these new characteristics to avoid your product files being rejected.
What is changing
To improve product data on its website, Conforama is requesting new product characteristics to be provided. The full list of newly mandatory attributes is available in this file (to download).Â
As part of this project, Conforama is also requesting sellers to provide the product model.
Furthermore, to make sure your products appear in Google Shopping searches, Conforama recommends providing the EPREL identifier of your products.
What you have do in Lengow
In the Attributes section of your Conforama channel in Lengow, you will find the required attributes among the attributes specific to each category.
Based on the file provided by Conforama, look for the future mandatory attributes (column "Devient obligatoire" = "oui")
Make sure these attributes are completed in Lengow, as they will become mandatory on 6th January 2025.
Example:
- You are selling adult beds.
- It is indicated in Conforama's file that "Tiroir de lit" (bed drawer) is a new attribute and that it will become mandatory.
Existing attributes ("Hauteur", "Largeur" and "Longueur") are also becoming mandatory. - In the attributes specific to the "Lit adulte" category (see screenshot), you must ensure these 4 attributes are filled in.
As for Conforama's other requirements, you must make sure the following attributes are completed in Lengow:
- Product model: Enter the product model in the "refFournisseur" attribute in Lengow (among the common attributes) to indicate the model name for the furniture/bedding categories, or the manufacturer reference for high-tech products and household appliances.

As part of the continuous improvement of our catalogue and our customer experience, we would like to inform you that new product characteristics will become mandatory in Mirakl from 6 January 2025.
1- Numerous features become mandatory
New product features are now available, some of which will become compulsory.
To prepare for these changes, you need to :
- Check your product mappings.
- Inform your feed aggregators of these changes.
- Update your product imports and API feeds with these new features.

These changes are crucial to maintaining the quality and consistency of our marketplace, and the additional information we ask you to provide will contribute to a number of projects, including the automation of product labels.
2- Progressive automation of our product labels
The display of product labels will gradually be automated in order to harmonise the rendering of products sold by the various MarketPlace sellers and those sold by Conforama.
The labels will now be constructed in a structured and identical manner for all products in the same category, based on :
- Product category: It is essential to segment your products by category, as the accuracy of the automatic label depends directly on this classification.
- Key product characteristics: For a rich, high-quality label, it's essential to fill in your characteristics correctly.
We would also like to inform you that you will need to use the ‘référence fournisseur’ attribute already present in Mirakl to indicate the product model:

This can be the model name for the furniture/bedding categories.

The supplier/manufacturer reference for high-tech products and household appliances
Example: 65‘’ OLED TV Philips 65OLED809/12
3- EPREL identifier
Following recent updates, Google is now requiring products subject to energy labelling to meet new conditions in order to be displayed on Google Shopping and is asking us to include the EPREL product identifier in our feeds.
Without the EPREL identifier, there is a short-term risk that your products will not appear in the Google Shopping search results, which could considerably reduce the visibility of your products and, consequently, your sales.
How do I enter the EPREL identifier in Mirakl?
The EPREL identifier takes the form of a classic characteristic.
A maximum 7-digit number is expected in this field.
Example with the URL of a product in the EPREL database: https://eprel.ec.europa.eu/screen/product/refrigeratingappliances2019/1944553 Â
The eprel_ID to be entered in Mirakl is 1944553 in this example.
We recommend that you carry out these updates as soon as possible to avoid any disruption to the distribution of your products on Google Shopping.
