The Image Compliance app helps you adapt your product images with AI so they meet the requirements of a marketplace, marketing channel or specific use case.
What is Image Compliance?
Image Compliance is designed to help you easily modify and standardise your product visuals.
The generated images are added to your selected catalogue as new image fields. You can then use these fields in your workflows, depending on your needs.
What is an image requirement?
An Image Requirement is a predefined set of rules that an image must meet for a specific marketplace, marketing channel or use case.
Depending on the requirement you select, these rules can include:
- Background requirements
- Aspect ratio and dimensions
- Target resolution
- Product framing
- File format and compression
How it works
When you create a generation, the selected requirement is applied to the source image field(s) you choose. The compliant images are then saved in a dedicated destination field in your catalogue.
How to create compliant images in Lengow
Follow the steps below to generate AI-powered compliant images for your catalogue:
1. Access the app
From the Lengow platform homepage, go to the "Apps" section in the left-hand sidebar.
Then click on AI Studio and open Image Compliance.
2. Start a new generation
Click on Adapt new images.
3. Select the catalogue
Select the catalogue you want to adapt. If available, select the relevant product segment.
4. Select the image requirement
Select the image requirement you want to apply, for example, Google main image lifestyle.
5. Select source and destination fields
Select one or more source image fields. Click Add another image field if you want to adapt images from several fields.
Check the destination field that will be created automatically. Its name is based on the source image field and the selected requirement.
6. Generate compliant images
Click Generate compliant images.
AI Operation Confirmation: Before the AI operations are launched, a confirmation pop-up will appear. It shows the number of AI operations you’ve already performed during the current month, along with an estimate of your total usage if you proceed. This gives you visibility into how this action will affect your monthly usage before you confirm.
Image Compliance starts generating the new images. The generated image URLs are added to the destination field in your catalogue.
Follow your generation
On the Your compliant images page, you can see your existing Image Compliance generations.
For each catalogue, you can find:
- The catalogue name
- The selected image requirement
- The source and generated image fields
- The number and percentage of compliant images
- The generation status: Done or Error
On this page, you can also:
- Click Preview (via the three dots menu) to inspect the generated images.
- Click Generate missing images to generate images that were not created previously.
- Click Adapt new images to start a new generation.
If a generation shows an Error status, check your catalogue, selected requirement and source image fields. If the issue persists, contact Support.
Request a new Image Requirement
If you cannot find the marketplace, channel or rule set you need, you can submit a request for a new image requirement.
Choose the form in your preferred language:
- Submit a request in English
- Submit a request in French
- Submit a request in Spanish
- Submit a request in Italian
Note
Our team will review your request. Submitting a request does not make a new requirement available in the app immediately.
