Adding the Zalando channel in Lengow

We recommend defining a Segment within your catalogue to only configure and send the products you want to publish on this channel.

Important - Compatibility

It is NOT possible to use the Zalando multi-country channel in the following cases:

  • If you are using a CMS with several shops for different countries with different prices/stocks per country, as the Zalando multi-country channel may only be based on one source catalogue (= one shop). In this case, use the single-country channel.
  • If you are sending your data directly through Zdirect simultaneously ("zDirect User Interface").
  • If you are also using the Zalando single-country channel. In such a case, you must migrate to the multi-country channel. Follow these steps before launching it:
    • inform Zalando that you wish to use the API Direct Integration feed (= multi-country) instead of the XML Standard feed, as Zalando must agree and confirm it to Lengow. Contact your Lengow account manager for more information.
    • make sure to deactivate the single-country channel before launching the multi-country channel.

First, you must contact the Lengow Support team, as the Zalando channel is NOT available to be added directly from your Lengow account. Lengow will request a specific token from Zalando, which will allow Lengow to retrieve your feed structure.
Note: no Masterdata file is needed with the multi-country channel.

Then, you will be able to add the Zalando multi-country channel in the Lengow platform, by selecting the channel with the "Multi Countries" mention (see screenshot):

The Zalando multi-country channel enables you to publish in the following countries, provided that Zalando is authorizing you: Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lituania, Latvia, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Slovenia, Slovakia, Switzerland and United Kingdom.

What is the difference between the Zalando multi-country and single-country channels?

  • Zalando multi-country allows you to publish in several countries using one channel only. It is based on the latest Zalando API, also known as Direct Integration.
  • Zalando single-country is based on Zalando XML, or Standard / Non-direct integration. One channel per country must be created in Lengow.
