Error Management & Product Statuses
Current Limitation: Error Visibility
Lengow currently receives limited product status information through the API. Detailed validation errors and the required corrective actions are available only in your TEMU Seller Center. If a product fails to publish, you must log into your Temu portal to see the exact reason and fix it.
To find the detailed error reports and see which products require action, log in to your Temu Seller Center and go to Products > Manage products from the tabs on the left.
Product Statuses
Products synchronized with TEMU (whether during their initial creation or a subsequent update) can be assigned different statuses by the marketplace, including:
- ACTIVE
- INACTIVE
- INCOMPLETE
- DRAFT
- DELETED
A product must reach the ACTIVE status before it can be considered successfully published and buyable by customers.
If a product is anything other than ACTIVE, Lengow will only be able to display the general status returned by the TEMU API. You will need to check the TEMU Seller Center to resolve any underlying issues (e.g., missing compliance data, invalid category, etc.).
The DRAFT Status & Automatic Sync Fallback
The DRAFT status is specifically used when TEMU creates or automatically adjusts a product during its internal validation and optimization process.
Depending on your merchant settings, products placed in DRAFT may require a manual review before they can be published to the live catalog. You can configure this behavior directly in the TEMU Seller Center by navigating to:
Applications & Services → Manage Your Apps → Automatic Sync Fallback
When Automatic Sync Fallback is enabled, products that land in DRAFT can be manually reviewed, allowing you to accept or reject TEMU's adjustments directly from the Seller Center before they go live.
